You should know that most times, customers will not actually tell you what they want. You have to deduce customers based on their reactions to issues. When you take time to analyze how customers react to different scenarios, you will be able to predict their next move. Most times as well, you need to take time to study customer data in order to predict customers correctly. There is a need for you to study customers’ data such as customers’ promotional history, customer demographics, product inventory data as well as point of sales data among others.


#2 Customized offers

Most times also, you need to take time to store customers data based on what your customers have in common. Having a database of your customers and storing their data based on the relationships that they have in common will help you to know the type of products and offers to introduce to each type of customers. There are three major categories that you can group various customers such as:


#1 Lapsed customers

This type of customers only purchases your products when you have promotional offers or when you decide to reduce the price of your products and services.


#2 Loyal customers

They are regular customers. You can make them affiliates and encourage them to purchase new products and services by sending them promotional offers through email.


#3 Brand customers

They may purchase only once, but their positive perception of the product may improve your brand reputation.
